Gerard Butler Hunts Down Robbers in Action-Packed New Trailer for DEN OF THIEVES

Right now Gerard Butler is fighting the weather in theaters in Geostorm. But the 300 actor has yet another film coming down the pike. In Den of Thieves, Butler is a cop hunting a team of robbers. The movie looks to be very similar to Heat, but instead of Pacino and De Niro, we get Butler and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. 

Here’s the official Den of Thieves synopsis:

A Los Angeles crime saga in the vein of “Heat”, DEN OF THIEVES follows the intersecting and often personally connected lives of an elite unit of the LA County Sheriff’s Dept. and the state’s most successful bank robbery crew as the outlaws plan a seemingly impossible heist on the Federal Reserve Bank of downtown Los Angeles.

Say what you want about Den of Thieves but I think it looks like a pretty entertaining action flick. Will it be the best of the year? Probably not, but the cast isn't terrible, and the story is familiar, but looks interesting enough. What do you guys think?
