Get a First Look at POWER RANGERS: ONCE & ALWAYS and the New Suits for COSMIC FURY

2023 is going to be a great year for Power Rangers. It’s the 30th anniversary of the franchise and there’s so much greatness. Power Rangers RPM is now being uploaded to YouTube so I can continue my watching of the franchise, Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury is releasing, and the 30th anniversary special called Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always is launching and bringing back many classic Rangers. So here’s what we know from the trailer. We have David Yost returning as Billy, Walter Emanuel Jones as Zack, Catherine Sutherland as Kat, Steve Cardenas as Rocky, Johnny Yong Bosch as Adam, and Karan Ashley as Aisha. They talk about how exciting and nostalgic it is and even remind us that some of these cast members have never worked together before. We also see some shots from the production of the show and it looks like there will be someone donning the Green Ranger suit. Now, we know that Charlie Kersh will be joining the cast as Trini’s daughter Minh, so she’s filling out the Yellow suit, Kat will be in Pink, Billy in Blue, Zack in Black, and Rocky will be Red. However, who will be the Green Ranger in this? Also, what role do Adam and Aisha play? They’re in some spiffy suits with emblems that seem to be indicating they are part of Space Patrol Alpha.
We have more than just this trailer though. Entertainment Weekly has shared some first look images that I’m very excited for. We have an image of Billy, Kat, and Rocky morphing with the classic Dino Morphers. We have some dramatic angles and lighting. We have a Rad Bug 2! The article also shares the following:

In Once & Always, fans will notice the return of Barbara Goodson and Richard Horvitz who voiced Rita Repulsa and Alpha 5 respectively. This is very exciting. You can watch Once & Always on Netflix starting April 19!
As I mentioned though, Once & Always isn’t the only new Power Rangers content we’re getting. Cosmic Fury will be launching on Netflix later this year. EW shares that in Cosmic Fury, fans will see Dino Fury Pink Ranger Amelia (played by Hunter Deno) shift colors as she becomes the first full-time Red Ranger in the television shows. Remember, Lauren Shiba was the Red Ranger for only a few episodes although she’s become very popular. Also, if you read the comics, you’ll remember Grace Sterling was a Red Ranger for the 1969 Rangers. Regardless, it’s exciting to have more female Rangers in different colors and you can check out all the new costumes for the Rangers as designed by Sarah Voon in the art and video below. I’m excited to see the next chapter!
