Get a Laugh as Alex Hirsch Celebrates 10 Years of GRAVITY FALLS By Sharing Ridiculous Disney S&P Notes About the Show
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Gravity Falls. If you haven’t watched it yet, I highly recommend it! It’s a fantastically written animated show that’s available to stream on Disney+. Lately, the show’s creator Alex Hirsch has been celebrating by sharing some awesome art and memories, but the best thing was him sharing some emails. These emails were ones that he saved from Disney S&P about items that they wanted Hirsch to change in scripts. Some of these are absolutely hilarious and his responses are incredible. He says he has thousands of these emails which is just wild. Behold the things that Disney’s censors thought were too much.
As an added bonus, Phineas & Ferb creator Dan Povenmire responded saying he wishes he had saved some of his to share. Then, in response to a fan’s comment on Povenmire’s response, Hirsch stated that he used Phineas & Ferb as precedent for getting approval on many items!
