BOOM! Studios recently released a first look at Magic: The Hidden Planeswalker #1. This comic will kick off a new 4-issue series about Liliana Vess and a hidden planeswalker that she has discovered. Mairghread Scott is writing the series with art by Fabiana Mascolo, colors by Francesco Segala with Gloria Martinelli, and letters by Ed Dukeshire.
While our heroes have many dangers to face throughout the multiverse, the powerful Necromancer Liliana Vess returns to her new home as a professor at the greatest college of magic in the Multiverse. But she doesn’t return alone. Sensing the presence of a distant planeswalker calling for help... one with the power to save, or destroy, entire planes, puts her on a collision course with the diabolical machinations of the Tezzeret, the Master of Metal...
Fans will be able to read The Hidden Planeswalker #1 on April 20 with a main cover by Karen S. Darboe. There will also be a connecting variant cover by Miguel Mercado and additional variants by Awanqi, Yanick Paquette, and Junggeun Yoon.
