Get Ready for UFC-Style D&D in CHAMPIONS OF THE REALM Series

RealmSmith, Lost Odyssey, and Dungeons & Dragons recently announced a new 7-episode series that will see celebrities playing one-on-one fights. The series is called Champions of the Realm and is a tournament-style game meaning that it will focus on player characters fighting each other in an effort to be crowned the champion. Viewers are encouraged to donate during the events with donations being split amongst charities of the players’ choice. You can even create your own fantasy brackets on the official site to win cool prizes.

Champions of the Realm will feature Jason Azevedo (Into the Mist) as the Dungeon Master; Becca Scott, UFC Hall of Famer Urijah Faber, and the voice of UFC announcer Bruce Buffer as commentators; and Noura Ibrahim (L.A. by Night), Omega Jones (Outbreak: Undead), Matthew Lillard (Scooby-Doo), Alicia Marie, Mark Meer (Mass Effect), Satine Phoenix (DM Tips), Anna Prosser (Acquisitions Inc.), and Deborah Ann Woll (Daredevil) as the players. The players will be controlling their characters from Idle Champions.

Champions of the Realm will run for 7 episodes with each episode being a new bout. Each bout will last up to 5 rounds of combat. If both contestants are still standing, Azevedo will make the final call as to who the winner is. The series will premiere on January 5 with new episodes weekly on the YouTube channels for D&D and RealmSmith. Who are you hoping to see become the champion?
