Get Ready to Display These Gorgeous Poké Ball Replicas

The Pokémon Company has teamed up with The Wand Company to create a cool new collectible for fans. The two companies have teamed up to create die-cast replica Poké Balls. Throughout 2021, fans will be able to collect a Poke Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, and Premier Ball with another surprise one coming to Pokémon Center (my guess is the Master Ball or GS Ball). Each one features proximity-sensing technology to make the button glow when motion is sensed. In addition, you can press the button to change the color of the light.

Ideal for collectors, each replica comes with a presentation case—authenticated by a uniquely-numbered hologram—and a polished stainless steel ring that provide multiple ways to properly protect and display the product. Fans will also enjoy multi-colored lights when opening the lid of the case, which can be controlled through a touch-sensitive metal plaque on the front of the case.

There’s no denying that these look very nice. Amy Sachtleben of The Pokémon Company said:

The Poké Ball is an iconic part of the Pokémon franchise, and we are thrilled to work with The Wand Company to re-create the Poké Ball as a high-quality collectible for our fans. The Wand Company is known for their innovative designs and world-class manufacturing, making them the perfect partner to bring this vision to life.

Chris Barnardo of The Wand Company added:

Working on such an iconic property as Pokémon is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream for The Wand Company team. It’s been such an exciting development and we look forward to sharing our gorgeous Poké Ball series with fans everywhere.

You can pre-order your own Poké Ball now from outlets including Amazon and Big Bad Toy Store for roughly $100. The Poké Ball is set to release on February 27, 2021, aka Pokémon Day.
