Get Ready To Geek Out To The Music From SPY X FAMILY With Charles Cornell

Charles Cornell is a talented musician who breaks down music from all sorts of media on YouTube. Recently, he went over what makes the soundtrack from the anime Spy x Family so good. I have really been enjoying the anime so of course I had to check the video out.

Cornell goes through what three of the songs are doing in terms of music theory. A lot of it went over my head, but it was interesting to hear him talk about the various jazz scales and chords and how they are used in this music. It was also cool to hear what makes spy type music sound like spy music rather than something else.

The three songs he picked for his analysis do a good job at showing you the wide variety found in the show. If you like spy and/or jazz and blues music, first of all you should really listen to the soundtrack of the show. Then you should watch this video for all the breakdowns and insights.

Check it out below and let me know what you think. Have you been watching Spy x Family
