Ghost Rider Actor Gabriel Luna is The New Terminator in Tim Miller and James Cameron's TERMINATOR Film
Producer James Cameron and director Tim Miller have cast Gabriel Luna in the role of the new Terminator that will be introduced in the upcoming Terminator sequel. Luna is best known for his role as Robbie Reyes a.k.a. Ghost Rider in Marvel's Agents of SHIELD.
According to Deadline, Natalia Reyes (Lady, La Vendedora de Rosas) and Diego Boneto (Scream Queens) have also joined the film. These new actors will join previously cast Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton, and Mackenzie Davis, who will be the new face of the franchise.
I liked Luna in the role of Ghost Rider! There are no details on how this new Terminator will be handled in the film, but I'm looking forward to seeing what Cameron and Miller are planning. I'm sure that we'll end up seeing him fight Schwarzenegger!
The upcoming film is said to be the first in a trilogy and a direct sequel to Terminator 2. It will ignore all of the other films that have been made since, and Cameron previously said:
"We still fold time. We will have characters from the future and the present. There will be mostly new characters, but we’ll have Arnold and Linda’s characters to anchor it."
David Goyer (Batman Begins) writing the script and the movie will be released on November 22, 2019.
