GHOSTBOSTERS — Shot-for-Shot Remake of Original GHOSTBUSTERS Trailer by a Bunch of Kids
A lot of geeks (somewhat understandably) have their panties in a twist about the all-lady Ghostbusters reboot/remake in development, but if it is half as cool as this shot for shot remake of the original trailer for Ghostbusters, then we are in for a good time. Interestingly, this entire thing is gender-swapped, with girls as the Ghostbusters and boys playing Janine and Dana. And I say girls and boys rather than men and women because this whole thing was made by middle schoolers. Yeah, you read that right. I don’t know what you guys were up to in middle school, but I was mostly buying nail polish at the dollar store and writing names of cute boys on my shoes. I was nowhere near this enterprising or cool, so hats off to these kids. Luckily, Paul Feig, director of the new Ghostbusters movie, has definitely seen this, so hopefully he'll poach some ideas. Like sweding the whole thing. I'd watch the hell out of that.
