GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE Behind the Scenes Featurette - "Passing the Proton Pack"

I’ve got a wonderful new featurette to share with you for Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which fans of the original films have been anxiously waiting to see. The featurette is called “Passing the Proton Pack” and features director Jason Reitman talking about the film with his dad Ivan Reitman, who directed the original films.

It’s interesting to listen to their insight on the franchise and what it was like working together on Ghostbusters: Afterlife. They also share how their relationship influenced the movie.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife was supposed to be released last summer, but it had to be pushed back due to the pandemic like so many other films.

This next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe centers on “a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.”

Reitman wrote the script for the film with Gil Kenan. The movie stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, and Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Sigourney Weaver are also returning. Ghostbusters: Afterlife will be released in theaters on November 11th, 2021.
