GHOSTBUSTERS Ecto-1 Car Design Discussion

The Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters is one of the most iconic cars in movie history. Beyond the Marquee has been doing a retrospective on the film in celebration of its 30th anniversary, and they released a video that features designer Steven Dane discussing the design of the Ecto-1. He also talks about the challenges of coming up with some of the other iconic technology for the film. What's interesting about this is that he only had two weeks to come up with all the designs before they started shooting! As you know, it all turned out amazing and looked great.
