GHOSTBUSTERS is Leading Advance Ticket Sales

Because I'm a shill that gets paid under the table to promote the film (sarcasm), I figured I should let you know Ghostbusters is now leading advance ticket sales going into this weekend, according to Variety. As of now, that puts its Fandango presale above other live-action comedies this year which include Ride Along 2 and Central Intelligence. That's not a huge bar to set, mind you, but both those films did really well at the box office if not critically.

I'm going to be honest: I was entirely indifferent to this movie prior to being called a corporate sellout half a dozen times. After weeks of that, however, I hope it does well enough to get a sequel just to explode the heads of the haters. As for the rest of you, enjoy the movie if you're going to watch it, enjoy your life and the original if not! Seriously, I can't wait for this film to come and go.
