G.I. JOE 3 Reportedly Waiting For Dwayne Johnson's Schedule To Clear
In case you were losing sleep as to whether or not the G.I. Joe film franchise would become a trilogy, you can now rest easy. LRM reports G.I. Joe 3 is still a go, but Paramount is just waiting for Dwayne Johnson's schedule to clear for him to be able to commit to it. The confirmation and quote comes from actor Byung-Hun Lee (Storm Shadow) who says the following:
"I heard from the studio there's a possibility to do a third one, but I think they're waiting on the actors' schedules...they're arranging schedules for the actors, especially Dwayne Johnson."
That could take some doing as it seems The Rock has his hand in about a dozen cookie jars at the moment, but something tells me Paramount will find a way to get it done.
