Given His Choice, Here's Who Stephen Amell Would Play in The DC Film Universe

Stephen Amell is in one comic book show (Arrow) and one comic book movie (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of The Shadows) right now, but there's always room for more. Given that Warner Bros. and DC seem pretty stringent about keeping their TV and film universes separate (at least for now...I'm guessing we'll see a multiversal crossover before all this is over), it seems pretty clear that Amell won't be able to play Green Arrow in a movie any time soon. So which other character would he play if he had the choice? CinePop asked that question during the TMNT junket, and based on his response, it seems like Amell really likes the color green:

I think all the superheroes are taken now. I’ll play The Riddler, okay? It’s a villain, but I like The Riddler.

It'd be hard to live up to Jim Carrey's completely over-the-top, bonkers version of the character from Batman Forever, but if Jared Leto can put a totally wild spin on The Joker in Suicide Squad, maybe Amell could do something similar with his take on The Riddler. Of course this will probably never actually happen, but I can already imagine someone getting hard at work creating an image of what Amell would look like with in that question mark suit.
