Glenn Close and Mila Kunis Set to Star in Drama FOUR GOOD DAYS

Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe-winning actress Glenn Close (The Wife, Albert Nobbs) and Golden Globe-nominated actress Mila Kunis are set to star as mother and daughter in the drama Four Good Days.

The film will chronicle Deb (Close), who is trying to support her daughter Molly (Kunis) through “four crucial days on Molly’s road to recovery from substance abuse. Their time together after a long estrangement revives both the painful wounds they have inflicted on each other, but also offers the opportunity to rekindle their fundamental, complicated, love for one another.”

This sounds like it will be heavy. We saw a couple of similar films in last years award season, but each were stories about sons, so it will be interesting to see this dynamic. Rodrigo Garcia (Albert Nobbs) will direct from a script he co-wrote with Eli Saslow, the Washington Post journalist and 2014 Pulitzer Prize winner, based on a story he wrote for the Washington Post. Principal photography will begin in September in Los Angeles.

This may very well see Kunis and Close nominated again. Do you enjoy dramas like this? Let us know in the comments.
