Gloomy New Trailer for MR. ROBOT Season 4 - This Is an Endless War
The USA Network has released a new trailer for the fourth and final season of Mr. Robot. The next season is set during the holidays, but don’t let that fool you… this is a gloomy trailer that’s not meant to bring joy and peace into the world.
I’ve enjoyed the hell out of this series, and with this new trailer teasing an endless war, I’m really curious to see how this story comes to a close. It was also announced that Mr. Robot Season 4 would premiere on Sunday, October 6th at 10/9c.
Here’s the synopsis for the show:
Mr. Robot follows Elliot Alderson (Malek), a former cyber-security engineer who became involved in the underground hacker group society, after being recruited by their leader (Slater). The group successfully pulled off their five/nine hack on multi-national company Evil Corp in the first season, causing a global catastrophe and sending the world into a spiral in the second, with season three of Mr. Robot focused on the manipulation of people as White Rose and Elliot battle for control in their own respective ways. The fourth and final season will explore the pros and cons of Elliot sending an email that could reverse 5/9.
Set during the Christmas of 2015, the fourth and final season of Esmail’s thriller sees Elliot and his violent alter ego Mr. Robot (Christian Slater) embarking on a path to target the top one percent of the top one percent — and their pursuit puts them directly on the radar of dangerous entities like Whiterose (BD Wong) and the Dark Army, ruthless businessman Phillip Price (Michael Cristofer) and the full apparatus of E Corp, and other unknown forces of terror. Whatever dangers lie ahead, it’s enough to cause even the Robot side of Elliot’s personality to sound the alarms.
The series also stars Rami Malek, Christian Slater, Portia Doubleday, Carly Chaikin, Martin Wallstrom, Grace Gummer, Michael Cristofer, Bobby Cannavale, and BD Wong.
