GLOW Gets a Fourth and Final Season from Netflix
GLOW is a fantastic Netflix Original and the streaming service has granted it one final season. That’s right, GLOW is getting a fourth season and it will be its last. Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin, and Marc Maron star in the series created by Liz Flahive and Carly Mensch who will return to serve as executive producers, showrunners, and writers.
Glow tells the fictional story of Ruth Wilder (Brie), “an out-of-work, struggling actress in 1980s Los Angeles who finds one last chance for stardom when she’s thrust into the glitter and spandex world of women’s pro wrestling. In addition to working with 12 Hollywood misfits, Ruth also has to compete with Debbie Eagan (Gilpin) a former soap actress who left the business to have a baby, only to be sucked back into work when her picture-perfect life is not what it seems. And at the wheel is Sam Sylvia (Maron), a washed-up, B-movie director who now must lead this group of women on the journey to wrestling stardom.”
There’s no release date announced, but fans are expecting the final season to air in 2020 with the third season premiering last month.
