Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler, and Diane Keaton Are Teaming Back Up to Star in Comedy FAMILY JEWELS
Hollywood leading ladies Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler, and Diane Keaton are teaming back up to star in a family comedy for New Republic Pictures called Family Jewels. The three actresses are reuniting after making the 1996 comedy The First Wives Club.
Here’s the synopsis courtesy of Variety:
Family Jewels will center on the characters played by Hawn, Midler and Keaton, who are forced to spend the Christmas holidays together, along with their kids and grandkids, after the man they were all once married to drops dead in a New York City department store.
Brian Oliver and Bradley Fischer from New Republic are set to produce, and Fischer made this statement about the project:
“The chemistry of Diane, Bette and Goldie is unmatched and irresistible, and I’m thrilled to help reunite them on screen for generations of fans.”
I think this is definitely a cast that will put people in seats. I love these three actresses. All of them are hilarious and have a great track record of making hilarious films with real and heartfelt performances. Does this sound like a movie you’re excited to see, or at least one that someone you love will want you to see with them?
