GOODBYE, DON GLEES! Heads To Blu-Ray This December

Shout! Factory is happy to be bringing us Goodbye, Don Glees! digitally on December 13 and on a blu ray and dvd combo December 27. This is the first original film by writer/director Atsuko Ishizuka who had previously directed A Place Further Than The Universe. The vibrant anime screened in competition at various major film festivals. Here is the official synopsis:

Teen misfits Roma, Toto, and Drop call themselves the “Don Glees,” an informal name for their backyard adventures. One day, when the trio gets blamed for a nearby forest fire, they set off into the woods to prove their innocence. As disaster strikes their expedition, tensions flare between the friends as they realize that growing up has taken them on wildly different paths in life.
