GOOSEBUMPS' Rob Letterman Officially Directing DUNGEONS & DRAGONS Movie
Variety is reporting that Goosebumps director Rob Letterman is officially on board to direct the latest live-action Dungeons & Dragons film for Warner Bros. Looks like he got a lucky roll with that 20-sided die, huh? (I've never played D&D, but that's a thing, right?) This confirms a report that came out a little while back about Letterman's involvement.
Seems like there's a bit of a resurgence going on in the world of fantasy adaptations with this project and Game of Thrones writer/producer Bryan Cogman developing a Magic: The Gathering movie. I never saw Goosebumps and am not super familiar with Letterman's work, but hey, it's gotta be better than the D&D movie that came out 16 years ago:
