Gorr The God Butcher Joins Hot Toys' Marvel Movie Masterpiece Line Of Collectibles

A new character has been revealed for Hot Toys’ Marvel Movie Masterpiece collectible collection, Gorr the God Butcher as seen in Thor Love and Thunder. Driven to despair after the death of his daughter, his rage drives him to attempt to kill all the gods in the universe.

This ⅙ scale model features a newly developed, hand painted head sculpt complete with scars and crooked teeth, new “rolling eyeballs” function that will allow you to adjust the figure’s gaze, a tailored and weathered fabric robe and scarf, Gorr’s Necrosword, a separate battle damaged Necrosword, Thor’s Stormbreaker with LED light up function, a necklace, a figure display stand, and more.

I think overall the figure looks good, and I’m intrigued at the ability to change where the figure is looking with its eyes. I’m just a little surprised at how obviously clear the articulation point in the arms is. Typically Hot Toys does a good job at hiding those joints to give the illusion of realism it’s a little jarring that it’s so obvious in this one. Everything else looks so good, it’s sad to see detail broken up by such obvious arm and wrist joints.
