GOSSIP GIRL Season 2 Teaser Confirms the Return of Michelle Trachtenberg's Character Georgina Sparks
A new teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming second season of the HBO Max reboot of Gossip Girl. The teaser is very brief, but it serves the purpose of revealing a returning star from the original series. In the clip, we see a woman sitting in the balcony of a theater, clapping, and the writing on the screen says, “It only takes one spark… to start a fire,” and the Tweet’s headline continues, “And I have a feeling that this city is about to burn.”
This immediately tips off fans of the original series, confirming the return of the villainous character Georgina Sparks, played by Michelle Trachtenberg. The series showrunner Joshua Safran confirmed the news in a tweet, stating that "The cat has escaped the bag — thank Jesus!"
