GOTHAM Adds Silver St. Cloud and ARROW Adds Anarky and Mr. Terrific
There are a few new characters being introduced in the DC TV universes of Gotham and Arrow. EW is reporting that Natalie Alyn Lind (The Goldbergs) has joined Fox's Gotham as Silver St. Cloud. The character is described as "an ethereal beauty with the pristine manners of a Gotham debutante," who has "a heart beating with dark intent." She was introduced to the Batman universe in 1977 and was created by Steve Englehart and Walt Simonson. Over the years she has periodically been a love interest of Bruce Wayne/Batman. She also lost her parents at a young age, so it makes sense that she and Wayne are drawn together. The report also says that she’ll have ties to the character Theo Galavan, who will be played by James Frain. He is a billionaire philanthropist who’s running for Mayor.
As for CW's Arrow, EW is reporting that Echo Kellum (Ben and Kate) has been cast in the role of Curtis Holt, a.k.a. Mr. Terrific. He's described as a "technological savant and inventor who works at Palmer Technologies under the supervision of Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards)." In the comics, Mr. Terrific’s alter-ego is Michael Holt, a self-made billionaire who's "an extremely intelligent Olympic-level athlete who joined the Justice Society of America following the death of his wife and unborn child."
Then CBR is reporting that Alexander Calvert (Bates Motel) will be playing the character Anarky in Arrow and that it will be a recurring role. The character is officially described as follows: "Lonnie Machin (AKA Anarky) is a deranged freelancing criminal who is willing to do whatever it takes to impress a potential employer."
Gotham season two will premiere on Monday, September 21st, and Arrow season four will premiere on October 7th.
