GOTHAM - Five Clips from Episode 6 and “March of the Penguin” Featurette
I hope Gotham ditches the freak/villain-of-the-week storylines it's been having lately. This is the same routine Smallville fell into early on in its run, and it can become painful to watch. How many headline news cases are Gordon and Bullock gonna solve in such a short period of time? The realistic world the showrunners have created deserves better than that. The impeccably chosen cast deserves more too. Luckily, there are some interesting and promising things happening elsewhere in Gotham. The relationship between Bruce and Alfred is starting to develop nicely, but the best part of the show so far is, hands down, seeing Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot maneuvering the seedy world of organized crime that is (in large part thanks to his own efforts) at a tipping point.
Fox released this new featurette called “March of the Penguin,” which includes interviews with the cast and producers about Cobblepot marching forward on his “journey to become The Penguin.“ They have also released 5 clips and a synopsis for the upcoming sixth episode, which is titled “Spirit of the Goat,” that I’ve included below the featurette. Gotham airs Mondays on Fox.
When a killer begins targeting the first-born of Gotham’s elite, Bullock is forced to confront traumatic memories from a nearly identical case he worked in the past. Later, Gordon is confronted by past decisions in the all-new “Spirit of the Goat” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, Oct. 27 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
