GRAND THEFT AUTO: THE TRILOGY - THE DEFINITIVE EDITION Set to Launch on PC and Consoles Later This Year

Last week, fans of the Grand Theft Auto series were finally given the confirmation they’ve been seeking for months. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will release later this year on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S with Android and iOS releases occurring during the first half of 2022. The trilogy is made of three of the biggest GTA games, Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City, and San Andreas. According to IGN, the current versions of all three games will sadly be removed from digital storefronts in preparation of the release of the remasters.

The remasters are happening as part of GTA 3’s 20th anniversary and feature “across-the-board upgrades including graphical improvements and modern gameplay enhancements for all three titles, while still maintaining the classic look and feel of the originals.” This is very exciting news indeed and more details will be released by Rockstar in the coming weeks. Which game are you most excited to revisit?
