Great Trailer For Blake Lively's Upcoming Film ALL I SEE IS YOU - "Try To Keep Your Eyes Open"
We've got another fantastic trailer for you to watch for Blake Lively and Jason Clarke's intriguing new film All I See is You. The movie comes from director Marc Forster (Stranger Than Fiction, The Kite Runner, Quantum of Solace, World War Z), and it looks really good.
The story focuses on a blind woman who is given back the gift of sight after losing it when she was a kid. When she regains her sight, the life of her and her husband are turned completely upside down. She imagined her life being so much different in her imagination when she was blind and now that she can see what her life is really like, it turns out to be a disappointment. It looks these feeling lead her down a dark path.
The trailers for these films have been cut together really well. I like the unsettling vibe that they give off and they've sold me on wanting to see the film because I want to see what happens in this interesting story.
Gina (Blake Lively) and husband James (Jason Clarke) have an almost perfect marriage. After being blinded as a child in a nearly fatal car crash that claimed her parent’s lives, Gina depends on James to be her eyes—a dependence that appears to solidify their passionate relationship. She sees her world in her own vivid imagination with help from James’ descriptions. Despite her disability, the two enjoy a colorful existence in Bangkok, Thailand where James works in insurance and Gina explores life in a foreign country. It seems the only real hardship this loving couple faces is difficulty conceiving a child but when Gina is given the opportunity to have a corneal transplant and regains her vision, their life and relationship are upended. Gina now sees the world with a new sense of wonder and independence which James finds threatening. It is only when Gina suddenly begins to lose her sight again that she finally realizes the disturbing reality of their marriage and their lives.
The cast also includes Yvonne Strahovski, Danny Huston, Ahna O'Reilly, and Wes Chatham. All I See Is You hits theaters on October 27th.
