Great Trailer for Buddy Crime Drama NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH Starring Jack Quaid and Jeffrey Dean Morgan

A great trailer has been released for the buddy crime dramedy Neighborhood Watch, starring Jack Quaid (The Boys, Star Trek: Lower Decks, Novocaine) and Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead, The Boys), as well as Malin Akerman, Cecile Cubiló, Harrison Stone, and Jim Klock.

The movie is directed by Duncan Skiles, (The Last of the Great Romantics, The Clovehitch Killer, The Fuzz), from a screenplay written by Sean Farley.

The film’s synopsis reads: “Simon (Jack Quaid), a young man grappling with mental illness, becomes convinced that he has witnessed an abduction. When he reports it to the police and they refuse to believe him, he reluctantly seeks the help of his neighbor Ed (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), a jaded, retired security guard with his own troubled past.

“As the unlikely duo delves deeper into the mystery, their pursuit of the truth forces them to confront not only the dark secrets surrounding the disappearance but also the many unspoken wounds that haunt them both.”

This looks like a lot of fun. The acting and story look solid, and the way they handle the character Simon’s mental illness visually looks interesting.

Check out the trailer below, and watch Neighborhood Watch when it’s released in select US theaters and on VOD on April 25th.
