Great Trailer for Netflix Film HIS THREE DAUGHTERS Starring Natasha Lyonne, Carrie Coon and Elizabeth Olsen
Netflix has released a trailer for their upcoming film His Three Daughters, starring Natasha Lyonne (Poker Face), Carrie Coon (Ghostbusters: Afterlife), and Elizabeth Olsen (WandaVision). The film follows the three women who play sisters who come together as their father is dying to deal with the logistics and grief in their own ways. The movie also stars Jovan Adepo, Jay O. Sanders, Rudy Galvan, Jose Febus, and Jasmine Bracey, and it was written and directed by Azazel Jacobs (Nobody Needs to Know, The GoodTimesKid, Momma's Man).
The full synopsis reads:
“A bittersweet and often funny story of an elderly patriarch and the three grown daughters who come to be with him in his final days. Katie (Carrie Coon) is a controlling Brooklyn mother dealing with a wayward teenage daughter; free-spirited Christina (Elizabeth Olsen) is a different kind of mom, separated from her offspring for the first time; and Rachel (Natasha Lyonne) is a sports-betting stoner who has never left her father’s apartment — much to the chagrin of her half-sisters, who share a different mother and worldview.”
This looks like a great movie with a deep and meaningful story, told by three incredible actresses. Check out the trailer below, and watch His Three Daughters in select US theatres on September 6th, and on Netflix on September 20th.
