Great Trailer for Prime Video's LEGALLY BLONDE Prequel Series ELLE Starring Lexi Minetree

Prime Video has released a great first trailer for the Legally Blonde prequel series, Elle, starring Lexi Minetree in the title role of Elle Woods, first portrayed by Reese Witherspoon in the films.

The cast also includes June Diane Raphael and Tom Everett Scott as Elle's parents, along with Chandler Kinney as Kimberly, Jacob Moskovitz as Miles, Gabrielle Policano as Liz, and Zac Looker as Dustin.

The series is created by Laura Kittrell (Insecure, High School), based on the Elle Woods character from the novel Legally Blonde written by Amanda Brown. Kittrell serves as showrunner with Caroline Dries, and episodes are directed by Pete Chatmon, Sammi Cohen, Jason Moore, and Stacie Passon.

The show’s synopsis reads: “Before law school, there was high school. From the world of Legally Blonde comes Elle. A new prequel to Legally Blonde, the series explores Elle Woods’ teenage years in the 1990s as a high school student, long before she became the ambitious Harvard law student in the films.”

This looks like a lot of fun, and I like that they seemed to give Elle a relatable and interesting storyline. I am excited to watch!

Check out the trailer below, and catch Elle when it kicks off on Prime Video on July 1st.
