Great Trailer for UK Comedy Series DINOSAUR About Sisterhood, Autism and the Struggles of Life

BBC Scotland has released a great new trailer for their upcoming series Dinosaur, which follows two sisters humorously struggling through life as one, a paleontologist with ASD, deals with her sister suddenly finding love. The series was created and written by comedians Matilda Curtis and Ashley Storrie, with additional writing by Kat Rose-Martin and Robin Boreham. Episodes of the show were directed by filmmaker Niamh McKeown.

The show stars Ashley Storrie as Nina and Kat Ronney as Evie, and it also features David Carlyle, Lorn Macdonald, Danny Ashok, Greg Hemphill, Sabrina Sandhu, Ben Rufus Green.

The synopsis reads:

“A new comedy series made for BBC Three and created by Matilda Curtis and Ashley Storrie, Dinosaur follows Nina (Ashley Storrie), an autistic woman in her 30s, who adores living with her sister, Evie, who is her best friend. They have a routine, and they understand each other like no one else could until Evie rushes into an engagement after six weeks. Nina is forced to grapple with her sister’s impulsive decision whilst navigating love, sisterhood and her life as it's turned upside down.”

This looks like such a funny, and yet heartwarming story! I look forward to watching. Check out the trailer below, and watch Dinosaur streaming in the US on Hulu starting on April 5th.
