Green Ronin is Creating an RPG Base on the BROKEN EARTH Trilogy

Are you looking for a new RPG to try? Can you wait until Fall 2020? Good. Green Ronin announced during Gen Con that they have partnered up with N.K. Jemisin to create an RPG around her Broken Earth Trilogy. That’s right, the world of The Fifth Season, The Obelisk Gate, and The Stone Sky will be a world that players can more fully immerse themselves next year. Jemisin will be working with Green Ronin, so it should turn out well. She said in a statement:

I’ve heard from many of my readers that they’re fascinated enough by the world of the Broken Earth that they’d like to visit it (nobody wants to live there tho!) and now they’ll get their chance. I’ll be working with Green Ronin to try and make sure the spirit and feel of the books is rendered successfully in this new form.

The Fifth Season RPG is being co-developed by Joseph D. Carriker and Tanya DePass and will be based on the Chronicle System which is also used for A Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying. Of course, the Chronicle System will be “revised and customized” to best fit the Broken Earth setting.

Are you excited for a chance to live in this world with your own characters?
