Bleecker Street has released the first trailer for a gripping drama titled Mass. This film tells the emotional and heavy story of four parents who are struggling with the aftermath of a school shooting.

In the film, “years after an unspeakable tragedy tore their lives apart, two sets of parents (Jason Isaacs and Martha Plimpton, Reed Birney and Ann Dowd) agree to talk privately in an attempt to move forward.”

The film was written and directed by Fran Kranz, and “he thoughtfully examines their journey of grief, anger and acceptance by coming face-to-face with the ones who have been left behind.”

This looks like it’s going to be quite an unnerving drama filled with tension. This film just tells such a devastating and heartbreaking story, and it seems like one of those movies that is so heavy it’s going to leave you exhausted by the time it’s over.

Mass is set for a theatrical release on October 8, 2021.
