Netflix has released a trailer for an upcoming original documentary that was filmed over the course of 10 years. Father Soldier Son follows the story of Sgt. First Class Brian Eisch, a third generation soldier and single father who has spent most of his sons’ childhood deployed in Afghanistan. When he arrives home after being wounded, he and his sons Isaac and Joey have to find their way and new normal in a life they are all unfamiliar with.

The documentary was directed and produced by Leslye Davis and Catrin Einhorn in each of their full-length directorial debuts.
