Gripping Trailer For Star-Studded Historical Drama NUREMBERG Featuring Rami Malek and Russell Crowe
A trailer has been released for the historical drama, Nuremberg, written and directed by James Vanderbilt, who previously wrote Zodiac, The Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2, White House Down, and Truth.
Based on the book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist by Jack El-Hai, the film is set at the famous Nuremberg Trials from 1945-1946 in Germany after WWII ended.
The film stars Russell Crowe, Rami Malek, Michael Shannon, Leo Woodall, Richard E. Grant, John Slattery, Mark O’Brien, Colin Hanks, Lydia Peckham, and Wrenn Schmidt.
The synopsis reads:
The Allies, led by the unyielding chief prosecutor, Robert H. Jackson (Michael Shannon), have the task of ensuring the Nazi regime answers for the unveiled horrors of the Holocaust while a US Army psychiatrist (Rami Malek) is locked in a dramatic psychological duel with the former Reichsmarschall Herman Göring (Russell Crowe).
This looks like it will be a good movie, especially for history buffs. We have a whole lot of WWII dramas, but not as many about the aftermath.
Check out the trailer below, and watch Nuremberg in select US theaters on November 7th.
