Gru is Drawn Back into Being a Villain in New Trailer For DESPICABLE ME 3
A new trailer has been released for Despicable Me 3. After Gru is fired for letting a villain by the name of Balthazar Bratt get away, he ends up on a journey leading him to his ultra-wealthy twin brother Dru. As you'll see in the trailer Dru draws Gru back into the family business of being a villain with all his cool toys. It seems to work because they go off to embark on a little heist.
This is an animated film franchise that I actually kinda enjoy and I don't mind taking my kids to see it. This third chapter in the franchise looks like it will provide some amusing entertainment that fans of the franchise will enjoy. Especially the kids!
Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig reprise their roles in the film, and they are joined by South Park's Trey Parker, who voices Balthazar Bratt, described as "a former child star who’s grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the ‘80s, and proves to be Gru’s most formidable nemesis to date."
The film was directed by Pierre Coffin, Kyle Balda, and Eric Guillonby. It will be released in theaters on June 30, 2017.
