Guest Star Lineup for Season 2 of Joel McHale's Comedy Series ANIMAL CONTROL Will Feature a COMMUNITY Co-Star Reunion
The guest star lineup has been revealed for season 2 of Fox’s comedy series, Animal Control, starring Joel McHale as “Frank, an opinionated, eccentric Animal Control officer who may not have gone to college but is still the most well-read person in the room. A former cop, Frank tried to expose corruption in his department, but his efforts got him fired, which may explain why he’s so cynical and curmudgeonly. He has an almost superhuman ability to understand animals. Humans…not so much.”
McHale is joined by core cast members Vella Lovell as Emily Price, Michael Rowland as Fred “Shred” Taylor, Ravi Patel as Amit Patel, and Grace Palmer as Victoria Sands.
Guest stars in the upcoming second season will include Sarah Chalke (Scrubs) as Yazmin, whom McHale’s main character Frank sees as the one that got away; Krystal Smith (Welcome to Flatch) will recur as Bettany, the tough assistant of Emily (Lovell); and McHale’s Community co-star Ken Jeong will join the series as Lee Park, a “well-respected, moderately unhinged dog whisperer.”
This is a great lineup of new co-stars! It will be fun to see McHale and Jeong reunite for another series before they return for the Community movie reunion alongside their other co-stars Donald Glover as Troy Barnes, Danny Pudi as Abed Nadir, Alison Brie as Annie Edison, Gillian Jacobs as Britta Perry, and Jim Rash as Dean Pelton. We still don’t know for sure if Yvette Nicole Brown will return. Keith David is also expected to reprise his role as Elroy Patashnik..
Animal Control Season 2 premieres March 6th on Fox.
