GUILD WARS 2 Fans Are In for a Spectacular Treat with "Shadow in the Ice" Chapter
Holy cow guys! I have been able to play around with “Shadow in the Ice,” the second episode in The Icebrood Saga in Guild Wars 2 and it’s amazing. I don’t want to spoil anything so I won’t be talking about the story other than to say it’s awesome and it’s cool how you have to help three new Norn spirits: Wolverine, Eagle, and Ox. It’s really cool, and I cannot express how awesome it is, so go play it as soon as you can.
In addition, plenty of new puzzles were added, Raven Gates to take you to special areas, and Kodan Trials. These trials are so much fun. They’re designed to be challenging and are two-part events. The first part is simply to trigger the event and the latter is the actual event. The actual events will require you to be in a group. Do not expect to be able to clear these events by yourself. You may trigger the events by yourself, but you more than likely won’t make it. One of these that I got to play involved a cyclone that sucked everyone in. We had to throw energy at it and not get sucked in. Then, if we died, we got sucked in and had to go back to a waypoint because it’s nigh impossible for people to revive you when your body is in a tornado.
I have absolutely loved playing everything that this chapter of the Living World has offered and I cannot wait to see what happens next. The team at ArenaNet is adding some incredible things to the game and I’m sure they’re only going to make it even cooler.
