GUILD WARS 2 Releases Trailer for Chapter 3 of THE ICEBROOD SAGA - "No Quarter"

Holy cow, I’m excited! Guild Wars 2 just released the trailer for chapter three of The Icebrood Saga called “No Quarter.” This next chapter looks so amazing and brings a lot to the table. The story is bringing Ryland Steelcatcher’s and Bangar Ruinbringer’s forces to the forefront, and you’ll have to deal with a charr civil war! In addition, players will be able to explore the new map of Drizzlewood Coast and participate in the new map-wide meta event where you help the United Legions in gameplay inspired by World vs. World. The United Legions mastery will allow players to use new special actions that will prove useful for beseiging fortresses and resupplying your allies.

The new Strike Mission is called “Cold War” and will test how many waves of enemies you can survive. Essence Manipulation mastery tracks are also getting a new tier added. Of course, the most exciting thing for many fans are the new Tengu Echo and Stormcaller weapon sets (plus two new standalone weapons). I think right now people are getting super excited whenever Tengu are mentioned as many of us are hoping they become a playable race with the next expansion.

As “No Quarter” is all about a charr civil war, players shouldn’t be too surprised to hear about new charr-themed backpacks as well as helmets designed specifically for your charr characters. Also, the Bear Shaman armor set, previously only available to NPCs, will be made available to players as well. Finally, you can finally play dead with the new “play dead” emote.

“No Quarter” is free to all players who own Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire which is currently on sale for 50% off until May 8! You’ll be able to jump in and play on May 26.

Mass defections to Bangar's army have touched off a charr civil war-destabilizing the legions and thwarting efforts to contain the Ice Dragon, Jormag. Head t...
