GUILD WARS 2 Teases New Content for Players

Guild Wars 2 has revealed their new plans for the next little bit for players and it’s exciting. First, the fourth chapter of The Icebrood Saga is coming soon. We’ll learn more next week after the trailer has been released, but I’m excited to see where we go. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, there will not be any voice acting for the episode when it launches. However, voice acting will be added to this episode and all other episodes affected like “No Quarter” eventually, once it is safe to record them.

Second, players will be able to enjoy the Festival of the Four Winds next month. During the month of August, players will be able to join the Zephryites in the Labyrinthine Cliffs to participate in activities and festivities. During this time, players will be able to unlock annual achievements and earn exclusive rewards.

Third, Guild Wars 2 is coming up on its eighth anniversary at the end of August. The first characters created for the game will be receiving their eighth birthday presents on August 25. For everyone else, we’ll apparently have some surprises in store. The only information we were given was, “Maybe you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, but one of your mounts is harboring an undiscovered talent…”

Finally, a new fractal is on its way. We don’t know anything about it other than what’s in the image above and that it will arrive in September. However, more information is said to be “coming soon.”

I’m really excited that Guild Wars 2 continues to be such a great game, and I’m always excited to see the new content be released. What are you most excited to see come to the game?
