Guillermo del Toro Says He's Working on a New Monster Movie

Guillermo del Toro has always kept himself busy developing all kinds of projects. He’s had the opportunity to make some of these projects, and there are a lot of them that never made it to the production phase. He most recently worked on Netflix’s Pinocchio, which was great, and the horror anthology series The Cabinet of Curiosities.

The director is now trying to figure out what his next big project will be, and in a recent interview with Variety’s Awards Circuit Podcast, the filmmaker shared that he’s currently working on a new monster movie:

“Well, I’m working on a monster movie; I cannot say the title because it may change, and I could end up making something else.

“But right now, I’m writing and designing. And we have for the last couple of years. Hopefully, it’ll be next, but anything can happen.”

I love it when Del Toro makes monster movies, and I can’t wait to see what this one will be… if he gets the opportunity to make it! He didn’t really offer any other details, but I’m just excited that Del Toro is looking ot make another monster movie!
