Guillermo del Toro's Animated Series 3BELOW Gets a Cool Teaser Trailer

DreamWorks Animation has released the first teaser trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s upcoming animated series 3Below. This is the second chapter of his animated Tales of Arcadia trilogy, which kicked off with the fantastic Trollhunters series.

3Below tells the story two royal teenage aliens, and their bodyguard as they “flee a surprise takeover of their home planet by an evil dictator and crash land in Arcadia. Now on the run from intergalactic bounty hunters, they struggle to blend in and adapt to the bizarre world of high school all the while attempting to repair their ship so they can return and defend their home planet.”

The show features the voice talents of Glenn CloseNick Offerman, Andy Garcia, Diego Luna, Hayley Atwell, Danny Trejo, Nick Frost and more. The returning Trollhunters voice cast includes Emile HirschSteven YeunKelsey Grammer, and more.

The third series in the Tales of the Arcadia trilogy is called Wizards, and it brings “together the worlds of trolls, aliens and wizards who are all hiding out in Arcadia. This final chapter of the Tales of Arcadia Trilogy will involve an apocalyptic battle for the control of magic – a battle that will determine the fate of the various supernatural worlds established throughout the trilogy.”

I loved Trollhunters and it looks like Del Toro and the creative team behind the series are building something awesome! I can’t wait to watch 3Below and see how the story plays out and leads into Wizards.
