Guy Builds a Leathal Katana Sword Out of Paper, and It Actually Works
YouTuber Mike Shake has taken DIY weapon-making to a wild new level with his latest project, which is a fully functional katana made entirely from paper.
After previously crafting a transparent sword, he wanted to see just how far he could push the limits of the world’s most unassuming material. Using thick stacks of paper soaked in epoxy resin, Shake layered, clamped, and shaped the composite until it mimicked the strength of carbon fiber.
The result is a sleek, razor-sharp blade that’s shockingly lethal. To prove it, he puts his paper katana through a series of brutal tests against different objects, showing that sometimes the simplest materials can deliver seriously dangerous results.
