Gwendoline Christie’s Role in STAR WARS EPISODE VII Revealed

The information reveals some information on the character that Game of Thrones' Gwendoline Christie plays in the J.J. Abrams directed film.
According to inside sources, she will be playing John Boyega's commanding imperial officer in story. Apparently, she's pissed off that he deserted, so she has gone on a mission to hunt him down.
The site goes on to say that the actress has been seen training with a lightsaber. So is she a Sith as well as an Imperial Officer? We can only hope so! She would make a great Sith.
The report goes on to speculate that she was cast in the role that Benedict Cumberbatch was in talks for and that they just switched the character's gender. There's no solid confirmation on that, but it makes sense if they did.
Regardless, it sounds like she has a great role that is going to see some action, and her character arc could possibly play out throughout the course of this upcoming trilogy.
