Halle Berry is Set To Direct and Star in a Mixed Martial Arts Film Called BRUISED
Halle Berry is embarking on a new adventure as the director of a new film called Bruised that she will also star in. This will be the actresses first time directing a film and it definitely sounds like the perfect film project for her to take on.
The film is an mixed martial arts drama that follows Jackie “Justice,” “a disgraced MMA fighter who has failed at the one thing she’s ever been good at – fighting. When 6-year-old Manny, the son she walked out on years ago, returns to her doorstep, Jackie has to conquer her own demons, face one of the fiercest rising stars of the MMA world, and ultimately fight to become the mother this kid deserves.”
The script for the film was written by Michelle Rosenfarb and Barry will also work with the same fight choreography that worked on the John Wick films. Barry is currently shooting the third John Wick film.
Barry will start production on Bruised in March of 2019.
