HAN SOLO Movie Has Started Filming, See Its Clever Working Title

Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the minds behind The LEGO Movie, the Jump Street film franchise, and a bunch of other ideas that seem terrible on paper but they somehow turn into creative gold, have begun filming the Han Solo origin movie for Lucasfilm. Miller took to Instagram to let Star Wars fans know they're underway:

Han First Shot

In case you can't see it, the caption says "Han First Shot," a play on the now-infamous Han Shot First debacle. And that working title is pretty great, too. Red Cup...Solo...get it? That's the kind of goofy humor the duo is known for, and when this production wraps, I'm guessing this will result in the funniest Star Wars movie so far.

Alden Ehrenreich stars as the titular smuggler, Donald Glover plays a young Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson plays Han's mentor (Garris Shrike), and Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke also stars. Oscar nominee Bradford Young (Arrival) is shooting the movie, and it arrives in theaters on May 25, 2018 (though there have been some recent rumors it might bow in December of 2018 instead).
