Hank Azaria has been cast in the upcoming Showtime series Super Pumped, which will tell the story of the rise of Uber. Azaria is set to take on the role of Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple.

The actor is joined by Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Uber CEO and co-founder Travis Kalanick, Kyle Chandler as venture capitalist Bill Gurle, and Kerry Bishé as Austin Geidt, Uber employee number four.

Super Pumped is an anthology series, and this first season is based on Mike Isaac’s book of the same name. “Pivoting on Kalanick and his sometimes tumultuous relationship with his mentor Gurley, the series will depict the roller-coaster ride of the upstart transportation company, embodying the highs and lows of Silicon Valley.”

The series will focus on a different major business world story each season. The show is being developed by Beth Schacter who serves as co-writer, co-showrunner, and executive producer along with Brian Koppelman and David Levien.

I enjoy the stories of people who start their businesses. There are some inspiring stories out there and there is also a lot of crazy and interesting drama that goes on behind the scenes.

It’s not hard to imagine Azaria playing Tim Cook, he’s going to be great in the role!
