HANNA Season 2 Is Coming and Here's the First Teaser Trailer
The first season of Amazon’s action-thriller Hanna actually ended up being a solidly good series. The show is an adaptation of 2011 Saoirse Ronan film of the same name. I had no idea that Amazon was working on a second season of the series until today when this teaser trailer for it popped up online.
Season 2 will consist of eight episodes and will see the return of Esmé Creed-Miles as Hanna and Mireille Enos returns as CIA operative Marissa Wiegler. Dermot Mulroney also joins the series as Utrax overseer John Carmichael.
Here is the synopsis for Hanna Season 2:
Following her discovery at the end of Season One, Hanna now knows she is not the only young woman with unparalleled skill and elite training. The Utrax program has produced a whole contingent of highly trained teenagers whose development is about to reach the lethal “second phase.”
Hanna Season 2 was written David Farr (The Night Manager), who co-wrote the original feature, along with Paul Waters, Laura Lomas, Nina Segal, and Charlotte Hamblin. Farr also directed the premiere episode and the finale.
Hanna season 2 will premiere Prime Video on July 3, 2020. Did you watch the first season of the series and are you happy to see there’s a Season 2 coming soon?
