Hannah Waddingham Teases Her Action Sequence in MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 8 and Says Tom Cruise Is "One of the Loveliest" Human Beings
Hannah Waddingham took her rightful place in the hearts of fans when she starred in the hit Apple series Ted Lasso. Her schedule has since been busy as she is a Hollywood star that everyone would like to see more of. One of her upcoming projects is the highly anticipated sequel Mission: Impossible 8, which she has joined in a secret role. All we know about it for now is that she will get to have a pretty major action sequence opposite franchise star Tom Cruise.
During a recent appearance on ITV’s James Martin’s Saturday Morning (via The Independent), Waddingham teased an “intense” five days spent opposite Cruise, who she says she is poised to defend against any haters:
“I have to say, I have a real problem with anybody that goes at [Tom Cruise] now. Having met him and having spent five days intensely…He is without doubt one of the loveliest and encouraging, positive and inspiring human beings I have ever met. Isn’t he gorgeous? I have no time for anyone saying anything about him.”
It sounds like they truly bonded over their week-long shoot. Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning Part Two is now set to be released on May 23, 2025.
