HANNIBAL Creator Bryan Fuller Says "No One Has Given Up on Season 4"
NBC’s Hannibal was such a great series and it was a bummer that it got cancelled after Season 3. After it was cancelled, that were reports that creator Bryan Fuller was having conversations with the powers that be to bring it back. We haven’t heard any new developments on what has been happening in a couple of years.
I assumed that the series was just dead in the water, but apparently Fuller isn’t ready to let it die. When asked for an update regarding Season 4 by a fan, Fuller responded saying that “no one has given up on Season 4.” Here’s how that conversation went down:
No one has given up! I've made it clear I want to do it, the cast wants to do it and Martha wants to do it. We just need a network or a streaming service that wants to do it, too. I don't feel there's a clock on it or an expiration date for the idea. We just need someone to bite.

It’s great to hear that Fuller is still trying to push for a fourth season! The big question is, will any network or streaming service eventually want to take it on? I’m not sure why no one has jumped on board yet, but if it hasn’t happened at this point, who knows if it ever will. The show was cancelled back in 2015 and as time passes the interest of bringing it back fades further away.
But, who knows! We’ve seen crazier things happen in Hollywood, maybe Hannibal will surprisingly return one day. If it does, it will be The Silence of the Lambs season.
