Harrison Ford Hilariously Confuses Kryptonite with Carbonite and He Doesn't Know or Care What a Force Ghost Is

I love Harrison Ford. While making the press rounds for his upcoming film The Call of The Wild, he can’t escape the subject of Star Wars. Interviewers just like to bring it up and Ford politely plays along. Well, in separate interviews, Ford had a couple of amusing hiccups. In one he confuses Kryptonite and Carbonite, and in another he confesses he doesn’t know what a Force Ghost is and doesn’t care.

In the first interview, FOX 32 entertainment reporter Jake Hamilton asked Ford about the iconic “I know” reply to Carrie Fisher. In his response, Ford said, “so I’m about to be frozen in Krypotinte…” It’s at this point Hamilton corrects Ford’s mistake. Ford sighs and hilariously says, “Kryptonite, Carbonite. I just work here.” You can watch that exchange below:

Then, in another interview with USA Today, Ford was asked about the possibility of Han being a Force ghost, which he responded to in a wonderfully funny way saying:

"A Force ghost? I don’t know what a Force ghost is. Don’t tell anyone. I’m not talking loud enough for your recorder. I have no (expletive) idea what a Force ghost is. And I don’t care!"

Another reason to check off on why I love Harrison Ford. He went on to talk about how things went when J.J. Abrams asked him to come back for The Rise of Skywalker:

"When JJ asked me to do it, I said, 'Are you kidding? I’m dead!' He said, 'Sorta dead. You can do this.' He hadn’t written anything at that time. But he said, 'This is going to be great.' So I said okay. If JJ asked you do something, you’d probably do it too. He’s a very persuasive guy.

“It was a useful addition to the story and the continuing development of Adam Driver's character. And the chance to do another scene with Adam was great.”

I really did love that scene between Han Solo and Ben Solo. It was a beautiful and emotional father and son moment. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed Ford’s fun Star Wars interview quotes!
